Dr. Susie received her undergraduate degree from Texas Lutheran College in 1987. She attended UTHSC San Antonio, graduated in 1992 and received her pediatric certification in 2000.

She is married to Dr. Bill Cruse, and they are blessed with two wonderful children. While Dr. Susie's husband, Bill was in the United States Army serving as a dentist, they had the opportunity to travel to Europe. While in Europe Dr. Susie worked as a civilian dentist and soon was recognized by her peers as the "children's dentist." It was then that she knew that she was called to work with children. After her husband’s separation from the military, they returned to San Antonio and she entered the Pediatric Program at UTHSC in 1998. In July of 2000, Dr. Susie opened Stone Oak Pediatric Dentistry where she continues to care for children as if they were her own. Her husband, Dr. Bill Cruse, practices general dentistry at his office located in the Encino Crossing Center.

Dr. Susie is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and San Antonio Pediatric Dental Society, and is Diplomat, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
